Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a merchant bank dedicated to the media, communication and information industries, is looking for a talented and motivated analyst to join our team. VSS offers clients a unique skill set, combining the knowledge and experience of media and communications industry executives and financial transaction professionals drawn from the ranks of the top media companies and finance firms in the country. This individual will work primarily on M&A assignments. In addition, there may be a limited opportunity to work on private equity assignments.

Required Qualifications Include:

• BA/BS degree. Outstanding academic record.
• Minimum of one year of experience in investment banking, or comparable experience using financial research, analysis, modeling and presentation skills.
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions or Leveraged/High Yield Lending preferred
• Experience as part of a Media Industry-focused team or group or a demonstrated interest in the media, communications and information industries also preferred
• Excellent writing, research, presentation and communications skills
• Strong analytical and modeling skills (LBO, DCF, P&L forecasting) in Excel.
• Solid PowerPoint skills
• Highly motivated team player, able to work well under pressure
