Downgrading Charter Communications As We See Subscriber Losses - AG Edwards Comments
(RealTimeTraders.com) - Friday, AG Edwards downgraded Charter Communications Inc. (CHTR) to Sell from Hold. Analyst Michael Kupinski said the company reported weak 2003-fourth quarter results mainly due to loss in basic subscribers and disappointing advance services.
The analyst added that the company reported a significant slowdown in its high-speed data additions, up 76,000 in the fourth quarter versus an increase of 140,000 in the third quarter 2003. Accordingly the brokerage estimates 2004 loss per share at $1.31. Currently the stock is losing $0.14 and trading at $4.25.
