Univision's KUVN Is .1 Among Young Adults in Primetime During November Sweep

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2003--According to the November 2003 Nielsen Station Index (NSI), Univision's owned-and-operated station KUVN-Dallas, outperformed its English and Spanish-language counterparts during primetime. With a 4.7 rating among Adults 18-34 Monday-Sunday 6-10P, KUVN captured the .1 overall market position, while increasing ratings delivery during the time period by nearly 20% over November 2002.

KUVN was also the market leader in early local news, Monday-Friday, 5-530P among this group of young viewers. Noticias 23 Cinco en Punto out-delivered the newscasts of ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and Telemundo, attracting 24% more viewers than NBC, FOX, and CBS combined, 9% more viewers than ABC and more than 4 times the audience of Telemundo.

KUVN also claimed the .1 overall market position sign-on to sign-off (Monday - Sunday 6a-2a), delivering a 2.4 rating among the same key demographic.
