Key Investment Events for Thursday Morning!

Aug. 21, 2003 WESTON, FL MARKET WIRE

Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: XRG, Inc. (OTC BB: XRGC), BICO Inc. (OTC: BIKO), Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) and Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD).

Watch XRG, Inc. (OTC BB: XRGC) stock for a potential move this morning! Yesterday after the markets closed, the company issued a press release stating that it has signed a Definitive Stock Purchase Agreement with R&R Express Intermodal, Inc. of Pittsburgh, PA. "With the addition of this acquisition we feel this will give us entry into a significant and growing segment of the transportation industry. In addition, with operations in Houston, TX, Jacksonville, FL, and Savannah, GA, R&R Express Intermodal will allow XRG to have an immediate footprint in the Southeastern United States," stated Kevin P. Brennan, CEO of XRG, Inc. Watch for the news to have an effect on the company's stock today!

Management feels this transaction will close within the next few weeks and there will be no significant dilution to the current shareholders of XRG to close this purchase. "With the announcement of an agreement earlier this week with J. Bently Companies, Inc. and today's announcement, XRG is further implementing its growth strategies by targeting and acquiring profitable truckload carriers," added Mr. Brennan. XRG, Inc. was established to consolidate established and profitable truckload carriers throughout the United States.

Stocks showing interesting activity yesterday were: BICO Inc. (OTC BB: BIKO) up 33% to .0004 on 19.6 million shares traded, Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) up 8.3% to $4.15 on 15 million shares traded and Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) up 1.2% to $32.57 on 12.6 million shares traded.

Commentary: Economy and Money

"A recent CBS poll says that almost hone half of Americans who have received the recent tax rebate check have used the money to pay off bills and debts and not to make new purchases. I guess the 'urge to splurge' has not taken over yet," stated Sonja Rudd in Wall Street News Alert's daily commentary continued at: www.WallStreetNewsAlert.com.
