Celebrating her fashion debut, Thalia, Mexico's sweetheart, will bedazzle Univision TV viewers with "La Gran Noche de Thalia" ("Thalia's Big Night") to be broadcast on Saturday, August 16, 7pm ET/PT. This red carpet and fashion show extravaganza celebrates the launch of Thalia's highly anticipated sexy signature clothing line. Univision co-hosts Raul De Molina and Lili Estefan, of "El Gordo y La Flaca" (The Scoop & The Skinny), will be in New York City to greet celebrity VIP guests as they make their red carpet entrance at New York's hippest and trendiest ballroom, Capitale.
Combining a flair for fashion and love for music, "La Gran Noche de Thalia" is guaranteed to up the style savvy of TV viewers. The event includes a special musical performance by salsa icon Marc Anthony and the attendance of international soap opera stars including Cesar Evora, Marlene Favela, Juan Soler, Victor Noriega, Adamari Lopez, Michelle Vieth, Ana Layevska and Abraham Ramos.
Viewers will learn how Thalia's longtime dream of fashion design came true and get an up close and personal look into the creative world of the "fashionista."
