Chris Russell is responsible for originating, developing and structuring US and international investment opportunities. Mr. Russell returned to our New York office in 2002 after having helped establish the firm's London office in 2000 in order to accelerate European investment activity. Mr. Russell has been active in merger and acquisition advisory assignments and private equity investments across all targeted Media segments in the US and Europe. He played a key role in the firm's investments in Hanley-Wood, ITE Group Plc and Xtreme Information and currently serves on the Board of Directors of ITE Group Plc and Xtreme Information. Mr. Russell joined VSS in 1994, and prior to becoming Principal was a Director and the Firm's Director of Research. He previously worked for three years in various corporate positions at NBC Television. Mr. Russell earned a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
