Gerhard Weisschaedel is based in Munich, Germany. Mr. Weisschaedel joined VSS in 2000 from Deutsche Telekom Medien, the publishing and multimedia division of Deutsche Telecom, where he served as the Chief Executive Officer for four years. He was also previously the CEO of CTS (Computer Ticket Service) in Munich, the fastest-growing ticketing service in Germany. During the 1970s and 1980s, Mr. Weisschaedel held computer sales management positions at Tandem and Nixdorf Computer AG, where he oversaw various European and Asian markets focused on the banking and insurance industries. Mr. Weisschaedel received degrees in business administration and economics from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and the University of Mannheim in Germany, respectively.
