Nick Veronis focuses primarily on the business information services industry and specialty media companies. He participated in the acquisition of CoreData LLC and serves on its board of directors. He has been involved in numerous buy-side and sell-side transactions, including the sales of Roper Starch Worldwide, The Official Information Company and DIMAC Marketing Partners. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Veronis gained Media experience as a reporter for New Orleans City Business, The Boston Business Journal, and then as a general assignment reporter and local columnist for New Jersey's largest daily newspaper, The Star-Ledger. Mr. Veronis then served as Associate Director of Newhouse Newspapers New Media Department. He also formed and raised the funding for a film production company, Bushwhacked Productions, writing, producing and directing an award-winning feature film, Day at the Beach, along with negotiating the film's sale and distribution. While still overseeing Bushwhacked Productions, he served as a Senior Vice President at the Avenue Entertainment Group (The Player, Shortcuts, Drugstore Cowboy), a film production company based in New York and Los Angeles.
Mr. Veronis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Trinity College.
