Marco Sodi heads VSS's London-based affiliate, Veronis Suhler Stevenson International, is a Partner of Veronis Suhler Stevenson, and a Managing Member of the General Partner of the Fund. Mr. Sodi developed VSS's international activities throughout the 1990's and helped establish the Firm's London office in 2000. Mr. Sodi has been active with each of the Equity Funds and led the investments in Mediatel, De Telefoongids, Pepcom, Centaur Communications and Fonecta. Additionally, Mr. Sodi played an important role in the Equity Funds' investments in Hanley Wood, ITE, Mediatel, Hughes Broadcasting Partners, Triax Southeast Associates, and the acquisition of Yellow Book USA as well as its subsequent sale to British Telecommunications in 1999. Mr. Sodi currently serves as a director of ITE Group, Pepcom, De Telefoongids, Fonecta and Mediatel. Prior to joining Veronis Suhler Stevenson in 1988, Mr. Sodi was a Partner at Salem Solutions, a consulting firm, and worked at Exxon Enterprises, the venture capital arm of ExxonMobil.
Born and raised in Florence, Italy, Mr. Sodi received a BS from Cornell University.
