R. Trent Hickman's responsibilities include arranging debt financing for portfolio investments, conducting due diligence, developing investment opportunities, structuring investments and monitoring portfolio companies. He was actively involved in the acquisitions of Hanley Wood, PBI Media, Pepcom and Verizon Information Services' European directories business (Mediatel). Mr. Hickman is a member of the Board of Managers of PBI Media. Prior to attending business school, Mr. Hickman was an Analyst and Associate in the Media & Entertainment Investment Banking Group of First Union Securities.

Mr. Hickman earned an AB in History and French Literature from Duke University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
